Transition Team
One of the key questions we receive is who is part of the transition team? The transition team is the ministries of the church each responsible for various activities and events to help support the church as we transition to a new pastor. All members of the congregation are also key members of the transition team as we support the transition through prayer, support, participation, and walking through this process together in love and through biblical approaches to managing change.
KEY INITIATIVES:
1. Prayer and Study that provides Biblical Approaches to supporting members.
2. Counseling sessions and group discussions to support members who might be struggling.
3. Reconciliation for members who feel negatively impacted by the process.
4. Celebrating and supporting our outgoing Pastor, First Lady, and their family.
5. Age group specific supports and activity recognizing various stages in the transition process.
6. Supporting, encouraging, and getting to know our Pastor Elect and his family.
7. Moving Forward together as we continue to serve the local congregation and the community.
